Sourdough Cottage Bakery - Wild Bread, Pioneertown

Hello all, I just wanted to let you know about a new sourdough cottage bakery based in Pioneertown. I’m Lis, the baker, and we are called Wild Bread. We currently bake twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays with two drop offs in town (at the Pioneertown Motel & Gamma Gulch) and a pick-up in Yucca Valley at Shop on the Mesa on the Twentynine Palms Highway. We bake to order and offer a rotating menu of loaves such as The Pioneer (our regular sourdough), The Trailhead (a super seeded sourdough), and Olive Rosemary. All our bread is naturally leavened using cultivated wild yeast. Most days, we offer at least one sweet treat too… think sticky buns and you’re on the right track…

Matt, you make our buns look so good! Thanks for posting a pic and so glad you enjoyed the brioche! We’ll be putting these on regular rotation… with enough notice so folk can get the burger supplies in. Soon, we’ll be rolling out some big brioche loaves… slice it thickly and make french toast on a Sunday morning, or noon, or anytime of day!
